Every 2nd Thursday of the Month | 5:30–7:30 PM

Thrive Thursdays is a monthly outreach event designed to bless and serve our community. On the second Thursday of every month, The Bridge Church opens its doors to provide free haircuts for students and food distribution for families through our partnership with a local food bank.

Our heart is simple: we want to be for the 757 by meeting practical needs and creating a welcoming space where people can experience care, dignity, and community. Whether someone needs help stretching their grocery budget or a student needs a fresh haircut, Thrive Thursdays is here to help.

Free Services for the Community

Everyone in the community is welcome to receive support at Thrive Thursdays. No membership or church attendance is required.

Services include:

  • Free haircuts for students

  • Food distribution for individuals and families

  • A welcoming environment where neighbors can connect and be encouraged

If you live in Hampton, Newport News, or anywhere in the Hampton Roads / 757 area, we would love to serve you.

Opportunities to Serve

Thrive Thursdays also creates opportunities for people in our church and community to serve others in meaningful ways. Volunteers help with things like:

  • Food distribution

  • Guest hospitality and check-in

  • Assisting barbers and haircut stations

  • Event setup and cleanup

Serving is a powerful way to make a difference and show the love of Jesus in practical ways throughout the Hampton Roads community.
