We believe that God has called our church to serve and impact the surrounding community in practical ways. Each month, through different initiatives, we take time to help serve our community in a tangible way that will have a long-lasting impact.
At The Bridge Church, we believe we are called to be for the 757—serving and loving the people of the Hampton Roads community in tangible ways. Our outreach efforts are focused on meeting real needs across the region, from Hampton and Newport News to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and beyond. As a local church in Hampton Roads, we are committed to partnering with organizations, supporting families, and creating opportunities to serve our neighbors so that the love of Jesus is experienced throughout the 757. On the second Thursday of every month, The Bridge Church opens its doors to provide free haircuts for students and food distribution for families through our partnership with a local food bank.
Serve Day is a one-day, church-wide outreach where hundreds of people come together to serve throughout the community. Instead of gathering for typical activities, we mobilize teams to complete projects that meet real needs and bless people across Hampton Roads.
Bless The Block is our annual Back-To-School event to bless the community. It always features Free school supplies, clothes, music, food trucks & more!
Every October we host a special community outreach called "Candypalooza." Its an opportunity to invite our neighbors for a night of fun, games, and of course lots of candy.
